“Trilby” is a playful song about Amy’s excessive shopping habits, with the title “Trilby” alluding to the fedora that can often be seen on the heads of many jazz performers. One of Amy’s biggest inspirations, Frank Sinatra, is known for his iconic suit and trilby combination.
