Crazy Lyrics

[Verse 1]
I remember when
I remember, I remember when I lost my mind
There was something so pleasant about that place
Even your emotions had an echo, in so much space
And when you're out there
Without care
Yeah, I was out of touch
But it wasn't because I didn't know enough
I just knew too much

[Chorus 1]
Does that make me crazy?
Does that make me crazy?
Does that make me crazy?
Possibly

[Verse 2]
Come on now
Who do you
Who do you, who do you, who do you think you are?
Ha, ha, ha, bless your soul
You really think you're in control?

[Verse 3]
My heroes had the heart to lose their lives out on the limb
And all I remember is thinkin' I wanna be like them
[Chorus 2]
Well, I think you're crazy
I think you're crazy
I think you're crazy
Just like me
Maybe I’m crazy

About

Genius Annotation

At the beginning of the episode, Zoey (Jane Levy) and the rest of her family are informed that her father (Peter Gallagher) is now terminally ill and has only a few weeks to live. Zoey reacts to the news by shutting down emotionally and walking back to her office in a daze. When she reaches the office, she suddenly bursts into the Gnarls Barkley song, dancing through the lobby with everyone else who is there. The song ends with Max (Skylar Astin) hearing her sing and seeing her dance. It sets a pattern for the rest of the episode; whereas the numbers in the show’s previous episodes were mostly in Zoey’s head, the ones here are ones she is performing in her actual life.
