This is my favorite song on the Cd. I love the part that goes: Please don't be in love with someone else. Please don't have somebody waiting on you. That's how I felt the first time I met this one guy. I felt like we were fated to be together and if he was already taken it would break my heart.

LOVE THIS SONG. It's about how Taylor met some guy for the first time and they had an amazing flirty encounter, but it had to end much sooner than she'd wanted it to. Since they just she doesn't know if he's already "in love with someone else", but she's extremely interested in him to the point where she can't stop thinking about him and she wonders if he knows how great it was for her to meet him.

If this really is about Adam Young, she did a great job with producing it. 'Cause it kinda sounds like an Owl City song. Just like Dear John have some guitarparts that sounds like a John Mayer song and Better Than Revenge kinda sounds like a Jonas Brothers song.

And the line "blushing all the way home" just gets to me :'3

this song talks about meeting someone and flirting with them for a while then it ends to soon then you don't know if that person loves someone else but you're just interested in that person enough to keep thinking about them it's definitely about adam young from owl city mostly because of the line "i'm wonderstruck" now who's more likely to say that adam of course i can't stop listening to this song it's great

this has to be one of my favorite songs on the album. my most favorite part of the song is when she goes like: The lingering question kept me up, 2 a.m., "Who do you love?" I wondered 'til I'm wide awake...

Love this song..GO TAYLOR!! I do not not like how her company said enchanted was 2 years ago taylor for the album tiltle,they made her change it..I think enchanted works alot better for the album as a whole...BOO Big Machine!

I don't know where this Adam Young stuff is coming from, but okay.

I can definitely relate to this song. A little over a month ago, I was at a concert downtown, and this guy stopped me and asked my name. It turned out to be this guy I went to high school with, but hadn't seen since. We got to talking, and I couldn't stop myself from asking for his number. I've called him a few times over the last few weeks, and each time we talk, it just seems easier and more like the work of Fate. I'm so enchanted with him. I've never met a guy I could relate to like this before.

You guys are ALL in for a wake up call. This is my favorite song she's ever done, no doubt. It's extremely deep, and she's practically screaming out who it's about, and only a couple of you got it =)

I've said this about all of her other songs from the album Speak Now. If you have the CD, you've surely noticed she capitolizes random letters. I thought it was for design, until I saw this CD. I thought 'What if these letters mean something?' And Taylor Swift just got even more creative and deep.=)

This song only had 4 letters capitolized. 'ADAM'. Duh. It's about Someone she was enchanted to meet, but never quite got to know. Adam Young.

They only met for a brief time. Rumor has it they E-mailed before they met- 'The playful conversation starts, counter all your quick remarks. Like PASSING NOTES IN SECRECY' Also, that he E-mailed her afterwards something like 'Sorry I was so quiet. I was wonderstruck meeting you' So, she incorperated that into her song. It's a sweet story, really.

'This is me praying that this is the very first page, not where the story ends' She met him for the first time, and she hopes it won't be the last, too.

She didn't tell him while he was there that she liked him, or even ask if he was single. And now she's dying to know, 'wishing he were at her door'. She wants him, and hopes it isn't too late.

Not everyone, but a lot of people are thinking "How in the world is this about Adam Young?" I don't know everything but i do know that they are quite fond of eachother and the song pretty much tells the story if you listen to it. But anyway, on valentine's he wrote a revised version and sent it to her. Telling her that he was never in love with anyone else and how he is truly flattered by her song. He had a note attached, saying: "Everything about you is beautiful. You're an immensely charming girl with a wonderful heart and more grace and elegance than I know how to describe. You are a true princess from a dreamy fairy tale; a modern Cinderella. I'm terribly sorry it's taken me such a long time to reply but I figured Valentine's Day was the perfect time to write this note to you and simply say...I was enchanted to meet you too. Love, Adam" So that's that. i think they're a cute couple. i also love how at the third round of the chorus, if you listen closely, you can hear "please don't be in love with someone else...." it's very faint with the power of the chorus, but you can hear it if you try. i love songs with two or three parts. love them.
