Hush up
Don't speak don't wanna hear another
(Not another word from you)
You're just a ani-
Mal tryin' to act real special
(But deep down you are just a shrew)

Maybe I should have a little more just to stay out of my mind
'Cause its when I'm not thinking with you that I act like a swine
Act like a swine
Act like a swine

I know I know I know I know you want me
Your just a pig inside a human body
Squealer squealer squeal out you're so disgusting
You're just a pig inside
Do ya I know I know I know I know you want me
Your just a pig inside a human body
Squealer squealer squeal out you're so disgusting
You're just a pig inside

Swine
Swine
Swine
Swine

Be that
Hog sweat it out you squealer
(Let your body jiggle)
Slap her skin-he
Love to watch her ass go wiggle
(It's the feel of ecstasy)

Maybe I should have a little more just to stay out of my mind
'Cause its when I'm not thinking with you that I act like a swine
Act like a swine
Act like a swine

I know I know I know I know you want me
Your just a pig inside a human body
Squealer squealer squeal out you're so disgusting
You're just a pig inside
Do ya I know I know I know I know you want me
Your just a pig inside a human body
Squealer squealer squeal out you're so disgusting
You're just a pig inside

Swine
Swine
Swine
Swine

Paint your face and
Paint his face and catch the beat
Paint your face and
Paint her face and catch the beat
Paint your face and
Be a swine just catch the beat
For the weekend
Catch the beat
C-catch the beat
Huh huh
C-catch the beat
C-catch the beat
Swine

    Song Meaning

Honestly, this song seems to be about an uncomfortable sexual experience – most likely rape. Given Gaga’s speech at the iTunes Festival AND her interview on the Ellen Show a few days after, that seems to be the most likely subject being addressed in the lyrics.

(It’s interesting to note that the song “Monster” from The Fame Monster also seems to be about rape, and The Prelude Pathetique segment at the beginning of the Marry The Night music video is often thought by fans to be about rape, unwanted pregnancy, and an abortion).

"Heard you, don’t speak, don’t wanna hear another" Probably “I know you want it” talk.

"I know, I know, I know I know you want me You’re just a pig inside a human body Squealer, squealer, you’re so disgusting" Gaga is remembering the disgusting man who violated her and compares him to a pig.

"Baby, I should have a little more just to stay out of my mind" She has to drink to forget about it.

"Slap it, skinny. Would love to watch your ass go wiggle" (these are the actual lyrics) She wants revenge on her rapist.

If you have any doubt of the validity of this interpretation, look up on YouTube the short speech she did before performing this song at the iTunes Festival, and also her interview on Ellen at the end of 2013 (it's the interview where she's wearing a pink dress).

    My Opinion

Based on what Lady Gaga said at the iTunes Festival, that this song required her to go back to a painful time in her life, I think she's referring to her time involved with drugs and how during this time she would "have a little more..." to win the approval of her then-detrimental friend group "'cause it's when I'm not thinkin' with you that I act like a swine".

    General Comment

I can't help but think of the game Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs every time I hear this song. "You're just a pig inside a human body." Couldn't be the source of the song of course but wow is it a fun coincidence.

This song is about rape, and was inspired by Lady Gaga's rape when she was 19, as revealed by her on the Howard Stern Show.

Classic love story true to his western tx roots. One of my favorites as a story, but I think there are alot of songs that are amazing not even listed on this site. I guess I should figure out how to add them, because I have about 8 REK cd's.

Corpse I Fell In Love With
Gadjits, The
He reuses the verse melody from the previous album's "Dirty Little Religion", the topics of the verses are all over the place, and he packs too many words into one line (goes to show...) and too few in another (it's pretty hard to find), and rhymes "Henley Regatta" with "Persona non grata", but gets away with it all as only he could.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.
