Product Description

Parry's "Jerusalem," originally a setting for voices and piano of William Blake's poem "And Did Those Feet In Ancient Time" was written at the outset of World War I as an attempt to shore up British morale at the beginning of what promised to be a brutal and prolonged war. It quickly became one of England's most beloved patriotic hymns, described as "Britain's second national anthem," and it's popularity remains undiminished to this day.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
