“Best Friend”, official title currently unknown, is an unreleased song by American pop singer and songwriter, Madison Beer. Made during the making of her sophomore studio album. The song talks about losing your best friend’s trust and support and falling out of touch with them.

In an Instagram livestream, Beer got asked if the new album had a song about friendship breakups, she replied by saying the following,

There is a song that I wrote about that […] I already delivered the album and I don’t know that it’s gonna make it, I tried to write songs that weren’t just about love or breakups and I still don’t know how to articulate those types of things. Writing “Dangerous“, that was a factor in it as well, there’s people who I am not friends with anymore who used to be my best friends and it’s really hard […] I don’t ever want these people to get hated on or whatever because I try to think everyone is doing the best they can with the cards they’ve been given […] I have a pretty high forgiveness rate.
