The new live video recording of Marius Bear’s cover of the song “Lonely Boy” by The Black Keys was first posted on the website of the Swiss national broadcaster SRF on 3 May 2022. It was then shown on YouTube as part of the Wiwi Jam at Home 2022, an online Eurovision concert of 7 May 2022 hosted by the independent Eurovision blog wiwibloggs. In the online concert Marius presented two pre-recorded songs, introducing them himself from Turin: (1) a special string version of his ESC entry “Boys Do Cry” from the 2022 Swiss music festival Zermatt Unplugged and (2) this new guitar vocal version of “Lonely Boy” recorded in a Zurich studio.
The new cover of “Lonely Boy” was added to Marius' own YouTube channel on 16 May 2022.
