Bones Are Blue is an unreleased Melanie song. The song was written for the 2013 EP, but the project was eventually scrapped. Later, Melanie re-recorded it in 2014 for Cry Baby, but it got scrapped from that too.

Based on private, unreleased documents, this song was written about Christina Aguilera. She was the only judge who didn’t turn around for Melanie, during The Voice blind auditions. Aguilera allegedly bullied Melanie throughout her time on The Voice.
