Get To The Point Lyrics

[Chorus: Mogli the Iceburg]
It's been a long time comin', I done came too far to quit (Quit)
So if I want somethin', I go out and make it happen quick (Quick)
I keep my faith in God, 'cause these people disappoint (Disappoint)
So if you talkin' 'bout funds, you should get straight to the point (To the point)

[Verse 1: Mogli the Iceburg]
I'm feelin' limitless, pop that NZT
You can't tell me just where my ceiling is
God blessed me with a throat that can scream on top of penmanship
Ya'll rock counterfeit Supreme, concerned 'bout what your image is
Buy them playlist spots that run on bots to boost your listeners
Huh, ayy, lately I've been feeling like the man
Took a break, just so I could rest and focus on my plan
It's a lot that I'm tryna do, don't keep no idle hands
Own my masters, look
Spotify just paid off my sedan
You can't own me, nah, I've been out of sight
I've been alright, in the lab working through the night
I know I might never wake up again
That's why I get it in, that's why I get it, yeah, ayy
[Chorus: Mogli the Iceburg]
It's been a long time comin', I done came too far to quit (Quit)
So if I want somethin', I go out and make it happen quick (Quick)
I keep my faith in God, 'cause these people disappoint (Disappoint)
So if you talkin' 'bout funds, you should get straight to the point (To the point)
It's been a long time comin', I done came too far to quit (Quit)
So if I want somethin', I go out and make it happen quick (Quick)

So if you talkin' 'bout funds, you should get straight to the point (To the point)

[Verse 2: Joey Vantes]
I feel like a bookie, give me your bets
I'll put it on me, that's all you need
Hair on my chin, I'm channelin' Durst
Don't go for the nookie, go for the green

Hole in one, or tap it in
Long as I'm under Elohim
Circle is small, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit hang with me
Yeah, I heard it all my life, I've been the underdog, dog
And I love it 'cause I got nothing to lose at all, dog
So I'm loose at every game, I'm callin' for the ball, dog
Put it off the backboard, I'ma flush it like LeBron

24k just look at my wrist
Never got a hand out, so they save it for the wind
I ain't wastin' my time, ain't doing no splits
You know I'ma take it all, Robin Hood, then I dip
[Chorus: Mogli the Iceburg]
It's been a long time comin', I done came too far to quit (Quit)
So if I want somethin', I go out and make it happen quick (Quick)
I keep my faith in God, 'cause these people disappoint (Disappoint)
So if you talkin' 'bout funds, you should get straight to the point (To the point)

Genius Annotation

A lot of people think this song samples ‘Diary of Jane’ by Breaking Benjamin, but its actually an original recording. The beat started with the 808 & drum pattern, then I grabbed my guitar and started playing around in that key. Once, I had the progression, I realized how similar it was to ‘Diary of Jane’, and just decided to lean into it with the tone selection instead of the original tone, which was much more distorted. Had my dad (James Horenburg) record the final passes because I’m not a great guitar player myself. -Mogli
