Nick Jonas enlists his band, the Jonas Brothers, on “Selfish,” which serves as the first bonus track to the deluxe version of Spaceman, reuniting with his older brothers and bandmates, Joe Jonas and Kevin Jonas. The collaboration between the three follows the band’s October 2020 single, “I Need You Christmas.”

On the song, Nick Jonas and Joe Jonas sing about their longing for their respective significant others. They don’t want to be wrapped up in their own things, instead wanting to give full attention to what their partners are working on, and seek to give all of their unconditional help, love, and support.
