Me, Myself & I Lyrics

[Verse 2]
No way, I thought it's great
What the hell was some kind of mistake?
That's you, what you thought it'd be?
Maybe something but it's not included
When I needed you
There's nothing else, I really meant that
Tell me what you want
You're still and now and don't remember

[Bridge]
Oh, no way
Myself included
I don't really wanna be that way
No, no way
Myself included
I don't really wanna be that way

[Pre-Chorus]
I'm still forgiven, no way
And I've been the outcast, it feels great
I highly doubt that, no way
I'm contradicting all the stupid shit I say

[Chorus]
You know I don't speak out
I'm feeling fairly weak and I can barely speak
I started to freak out
'Cause I can barely talk, I feel too weak to walk
I'm trying to leave now
I'm feeling fairly weak and I can barely speak
I started to freak out
'Cause I can barely talk, I feel too weak to walk
I'm trying to leave now

Genius Annotation

Me, Myself & I is the first track on Oliver Tree’s debut album, Ugly Is Beautiful, sporting a guitar-sounding synth with distorted vocals.

In this song, Tree talks about how you shouldn’t be afraid to say something stupid, as that would be a preferable alternative to saying nothing at all.

The song name was leaked when Reddit user, u/Enframed, found it on the Google Play Store, along with a handful of other unreleased songs.

What did Oliver Tree say about "Me, Myself & I"?
Genius Answer

People tend to feel like they have to keep to themselves in fear of saying something stupid. This song, to me, is about how I’d rather say some stupid things in my life than say nothing at all. At this point, I’m currently working on learning how to filter my thoughts so that I can be a little more fine-tuned with it, but ultimately, I’d rather say something than nothing. It can be a bit much, but it does make for very honest reactions.
