“Sandman” is the outro and sole bonus track from the 2021 re-release of Rocky’s debut mixtape Live.Love.A$AP.

The song is sonically reminiscent of Rocky’s early, cloud-rap inspired style, largely due to its production, courtesy of Clams Casino. In the early 2010s, Clams established himself as a pioneer of cloud-rap through his work with Rocky, producing 5 out of the 16 songs on Live.Love.A$AP. Most recently, Rocky and Clams collaborated on the song “Black Tux, White Collar” from Rocky’s 2018 album TESTING.

Rocky debuted the song during the Yams Day live stream on January 18, 2021, and following the live stream Clams shared the song via his Instagram page.

On April 17, 2021, A$AP Rocky revealed that a snippet of the song would be sold as an NFT on April 21, 2021.
