NEW ENDS FROM OLD BEGINNINGS (FRANK OCEAN WHITE FERRARI ”REMIX”) Lyrics

(Introduction: Atsen)

Waeyooo, waeyooo, waeyooo, weay!
Waeyooo, waeyooo, waeyooo, hey!

Aye!

(Verse: Atsen)

Lately it's been so grave
Don't think that you noticed
Seeing you what broke me down

(down! all the way)

I been feeling lonely
Visions of the old me
Maybe we could take a trip round (round!)

Maybe this the time we should've wasted

I respect the choices that you made

Feeling like i'm running out of sanctions

Lately you ain't had a lot to say
Lately it's been so grave
Don't think that you noticed
I think that you just wanna...

Be..
(ah)

(Outro: Atsen)
Hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm
Hmm, hmm, hmm
Dear light i...

Won't you talk to me...

Genius Annotation

this song is about one in the midst of a depressive funk, seeing a person they once loved in the middle of the chaos of they’re own life. as old feelings start creeping so do the memories of which they are attached, making one feel like he/she would rather be in that moment of time, no matter how toxic, than in the mess they’re in right now. the nostalgia of wanting to go to something that is safe while also questioning why they are in the situation they’re in at the moment. why they feel the way they do. why things didn’t work out between them and the love interest. and why is this person acting as if nothing is wrong when clearly there’s a rift. unless it was always a one sided relationship and all the emotion fell on them. this is all taking place in the subjects head as he/she doesn’t want to bother the ex lover.

this is a rendition of the latter half of Frank Ocean’s “White Ferrari” off the studio album “blonde”.
