Can’t Breathe Lyrics

[Intro]
It's like I can't breathe
When you're next to me
I like to put you in a trance
Uh, all over

[Chorus]
It's just too damn hot in the club right now
I think I need to get out
It's just too damn hot in the club right now
I think I need to get out
'Cause I'm DUI off a pill and a line
If you're tryna fuck then don't waste my time
'Cause it's too damn hot in the club right now
I think I need to get out

[Bridge]
I think you're feeling me
We're vibing now
But the club's too hot
I just need to get out

[Outro]
'Cause it's too damn hot, I can't breathe
'Cause it's too damn hot, I can't breathe
'Cause it's too damn hot, I can't breathe
'Cause it's (Huh, huh, huh, huh)

Genius Annotation

“Can’t Breathe” is a song by Ayesha Erotica, likely recorded sometime around 2015–16. Notably, it features a nearly identical instrumental to “Close” – a track posted to Ayesha’s now-deleted ‘whore1234’ SoundCloud page on May 17th, 2017, which samples “Click Click Pop” (2007) by Kidkanevil.

Not much is known about “Can’t Breathe”, and it was never (knowingly) released by Ayesha. Snippets of the track began to surface online in 2020, with the full version being made available in 2023.

The track interpolates a lyric from Madonna’s “Erotica” (1992), as well as sampling vocals from “I’m a Slave 4 U” (2001) by Britney Spears. The latter sample was also used in Ayesha’s 2015 single “That’s Hot”, which was released to her main ‘pussysugar’ SoundCloud profile on May 15th of that year.
