“Dissolve” is the opening track from Absofacto’s EP, Thousand Peaces. The song talks about a boyfriend who starts questioning his relationship after reflecting upon his girlfriend’s recent behavior.
Around February 2019, the song reached Internet fame when people started using it as the background music for their TikTok videos. TikTok is a mobile social media app used to create funny videos. The trend gained Absofacto’s attention and as a result he posted his own TikTok video. He later posted an acoustic version of the song with the caption:
