Paradise Lyrics

[Intro]
Got a new one
Blues Bell—GODLVL, GOD, GODLVL
We in a new zone right now. It's crazy...
Uh huh—Paradise

[Hook]
Paradise, Paradise, Paradise
You keep on calling
I know it's exhausting only getting a tone
Paradise, Paradise, Paradise
Do I have some news for you...

[Verse 1]
Only black LaG kid on the four at Jamaica Av
Where the hell your cameras at? (Ugh)
If you calm down first we could make it last
Like where'd you put your patience at?
You know, we could make it happen
We could, we could probably do it
(You know, you know, you know)
You know? You know?
You touch my girl, you gone rue the day
Imma hunt you down and keep playing
I'm hungry, tryna stay upbeat, eat
So you know I’mma win the game
I’mma, Imma make it happen
I'm the one who do it best
Just watch from the stands
And even though I'll hit a home run, just wait
I’mma walk third base like I'm stepping to the plate
Eh, if you ain't never heard of the boy
You ain't never heard from the boy
And that's a bad thing, get it straight 'fore its too late
[Hook]
Paradise, Paradise, Paradise
You keep on calling
I know it's exhausting only getting a tone
Paradise, Paradise, Paradise
Do I have some news for you...

[Verse 2]
I don't give a rat's booty how these old girls do me
I just wanna hear a new shawty go stupid
Say my name, say, “Oh, he Cupid"
Turn around, squat, say, “Oh my goodness"
It ain't my fault that she know me
She told me you was just a homie
"k_homie", who you 'posed to be?
You don't ever send no post to me
But I'm acting like you post to be
If you ain't never heard of the boy
You ain't never heard from the boy
'Til you hear him on a track that everybody got now
That everybody tryna cook up in they little pots now
But he chefing best
That's a shot like a Glock at you little punks
That's the bomb to your Vietnam
Think you got a problem
Better hope my drive never burn out
Throw a show, get a turn out
Backstage there's a couple girls that'd turn out for me
Probably they could get it too
But my homeboys can have 'em dude
Cause this ain’t how I envisioned you (Damn)
[Hook]
Paradise, Paradise, Paradise
You keep on calling
I know it's exhausting only getting a tone
Paradise, Paradise, Paradise
Do I have some news for you...

[Outro]
We need to stop...
It’s all that I want, it’s all that I need
We need to stop messing with people who don't love us yo...
It’s all that I want, it’s all that I need
It's not getting us nowhere...
It's all that I want, it's all that I need
It's all that I want—
But I'll be waiting here cause, you know...
Cause all that I need is me and my team

Genius Annotation

“Paradise” is a boisterous anthem that serves as the aftermath single to Amir Royale’s sophomore mixtape/LP, Revelations. It produced by the YouTube internet producer, GODLVLMU$IC.

The song samples “Don’t Hold the Wall”, by Justin Timberlake off his album, The 20/20 Experience.

In an ironic comparison to the ending events of Revelations, Royale speaks about the concept of paradise in conjunction to freedom and happiness.

Similarly to it’s predecessor, “The Road” (the aftermath single to Magnificent) and in contrast to “Dawn” (the promotional single for Revelations), the tone of this aftermath single brings about a completely different emotional rhythm and texture not necessarily found throughout the excerpts of the project Royale released before it.
