i was a disney kid. all i watched was disney and it shaped a huge chunk of my childhood. tarzan, still to this day, is one of my favorite disney movies. this song meant alot to me back in the day. when my grandmother passed away earlier this january, it took alot out of me so much that my grades started slipping and i was generally an overall cruel person to others around me. i don’t ever wanna be that person again. my grandma was the strongest woman ever. i know no other woman that could possibly come close. i bought a chain over the summer with wings on it. when i was five or six years old, we went to nigeria for christmas and she told me that through all of the bs in the world, she hoped i would do great things. she wanted me to be the first man to fly. bear in mind, five year old bure was not aware of what this meant, but i know now.

mr. thomas was my prinicpal in my middle school years. he honestly changed my perception how happy life was to live. he’s also the one that gave me the ability to be confident.

i cannot thank them enough for what they’ve done in my life. they will be in my heart from this day on, now & forevermore. 🙏
