“I Will Love Again” is a hopeful song on Bat for Lashes' concept album where the bride, the album’s character, realises that all isn’t lost and that she can love again.

Natasha stated the following about the song:

That song is the understanding that all isn’t lost: that she’s a new person, retaining hope when you could choose to be cynical or become this hardened person – like in “Widow’s Peak”, where the widows take you over and you’ll never get out. It’s the fact that she can open her heart to possibly loving again, who knows? But she knows that it’s there and that’s really reassuring to me. You can get heartbroken and cynical but it’s really important to remain open, because love is all there is at the end of the day.
