Worth It Lyrics
Your eyes are just like his
But your face is a bit different
You're a bit more fucked, but I guess that's fine
Maybe that's what I want this time
[Chorus]
You seem to be breaking up
Connection too slow
So just try texting again
Don't pick up the phone
Don't think we can be friends
'Cause you're too pretty
I wanna see you again
I don't know what I'm saying
[Verse 2]
This is too bad to boast
But this is my way to float
And if I shut up, I'm scared I'll drown
But maybe that's the best for now
[Chorus]
Seem to be breaking up
Connection too slow
So just try texting again
Don't pick up the phone
Don't think we can be friends
'Cause you're too pretty
I wanna see you again
I don't know what I'm saying
Don't think this is worth it
Don't think this is worth it
I'm not wasting time
But you've been on my mind
Don't think this is worth it this time
[Chorus]
Seem to be breaking up
Connection too slow
So just try texting again
Don't pick up the phone
Don't think we can be friends
'Cause you're too pretty
I wanna see you again
I don't know what I'm saying
Seem to be breaking up
Connection too slow
So just try texting again
Don't pick up the phone
Don't think we can be friends
'Cause you're too pretty
I wanna see you again
I don't know what I'm saying

In an NME article, beabadoobee states:
‘Worth It’ is simply about teenage infidelity and the mistakes one can make when they’re tempted to do things. It’s a bit of a confession song but also an understanding that it’s a part of life.
This song is about the temptations you get when you’re on tour and when you’re away—the stupid things you can do when you’re alone in a hotel room. It was hard to get through it, but I’m glad I wrote it because it was like an ending of that bit of my life. But sonically, it’s something good out of a bad situation. I wanted to make an album for people to dance to in their bedrooms, despite how depressing the songs are.
