Magpahinga Lyrics

[Verse 1]

[Chorus]
Dito ka lang sa'kin, magpahinga muna
Lalabanan din mga dambuhalang
'Di maubos na problema
Malapit na, pero 'di rin kasalanang
Magpahinga
[Bridge]
Magpahinga ka lang muna
'Wag nang pigilan ang luha

[Chorus]
Dito ka lang sa'kin, magpahinga muna
Lalabanan din mga dambuhalang
Mga pasanin lapag mo lang muna
Kakayanin din, kumapit ka, sinta
Matatapos ang problema
Malapit na, pero 'di rin kasalanang
Magpahinga

Genius Annotation

“Magpahinga” is the second single released from Ben&Ben’s sophomore album, Pebble House, Vol. 1: Kuwaderno. The piano ballad is a timely reminder to slow down and check in on oneself.

The song was written by Paolo Benjamin and co-vocalist and guitarist Miguel Benjamin and produced by Jean-Paul Verona. It was recorded in the house where the band currently lives, which had the baby grand piano used by keyboardist Patricia Lasaten in the song.
