Bow Down to Love Lyrics

[Verse 1]
If I could gather up all the hate
Light a match and burn it all away
Then with compassion in my voice
I would sing this song
In hope that we might find a better way

[Chorus]
And bow down to love
Bow down to love
Bow down to love

[Verse 2]
And when I think about all the pain
That the carnage of wealth always leaves in its wake
And how nowadays it seems that we fear ourselves the most
Well, I hope you can find some solace in this poem

[Chorus]
And bow down to love
Bow down to love
Bow down to love

[Bridge]
Let's come down easy
Let's come down easy
Let's come down easy
Lеt's come down easy
[Chorus]
And bow down to love
Bow down to lovе
Bow down to love

[Outro]
Bow down to love
Bow down to love
Bow down to love

Dallas Green:

This one was a specific reaction to being isolated and watching the news and the George Floyd story and all of the anger and hate, and seeing all the fear of the pandemic and just really feeling helpless for us. I wanted to write something rooted in compassion that could be the opposite of everything I was being exposed to.
