“Tick Tock” is the lead single from Clean Bandit’s upcoming third studio album, featuring Mabel and 24kGoldn.

The song was first teased on Clean Bandit’s socials, using short 4-second snippets of the track before being officially announced on the 17th of August 2020, with a teaser for the music video coming in the days after just before the song’s release on the 21st of August.

The song is about obsession and talks about the feeling of being infatuated with a person and how it can feel like they are constantly running through your mind every hour of the day like clockwork.

The song was written with singer/songwriter Kamille (who also featured on “Solo”) and was written just before the 2020 COVID-19 lockdown began, with the song being produced during this period alongside Mark Ralph who helped to finish the track.
