Wet with Regret Lyrics

[Intro: Grey Rhodes & Daniel Kyre]
Don't you know who you think you know?
I don't know, what? Oooohhhhhhh

[Verse 1: Grey Rhodes & Daniel Kyre]
We're those bad metal boys
Your little sister showed you

Rep the xMetalx
Like my neck tattoo

Had like thirty-five people
At our Thursday night show
I invited my grandma
But she did not go
FUCK

[Verse 2: Daniel Kyre]
We write riffs and breakdowns
That are way too fierce
Now I'm thinking about
Getting my left nipple pierced
We're on Twitter, YouTube
And Facebook, man
So go check us out:
Closer To Me Than Him

[Verse 3: Ryan Magee]
I hate my mom and dad
They think that I am fake
They always tell me
My lip ring is a mistake
My heart is so deep
Like a cesspool of love
Your hand fits in mine
Like a janitor's glove
Just got my license
I can drive us to the mall
If you say no
Then we will not go to the mall
Yesterday
I found a note in my jeans
But it's in German
So I don't know what it means

[Verse 4: Grey Rhodes]
Our shoes are from PacSun
Guitar is from Best Buy

Do you like this song?
And pretty please, don't lie
We've got our EP burned
To a CD ROM

Buy it at
Ctmth.tumblr.com
We party and we drink
Because we think that we should
And I wanna try pot
'Cause I heard it feels good

[Segue: Grey Rhodes]
Alright, if you're sitting in your mom's minivan listening to this on the way to the mall to get you some new jeans, I want you to get out your Hot Topic gift cards and throw them out the window. If you know this next part sing it along with me!

[Breakdown: CTMTH]
We'll sleep when we're dead
'Cause your life is a lie
And just because you're breathing
Doesn't mean you're alive!
Check us out on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube
Our EP comes out July 25th on
Closertomethanhim.bandcamp.com

[Verse 5: Ryan Magee]
Check out my gauges
They're almost double zeroes
My mom won't let me get 'em bigger
But fuck her, I'm almost sixteen!
A-a-a-almost six-six-sixteen

[Verse 6: Ryan Magee]
Oh my god
Please share my band
I wanna be famous
So show all your friends
I made like thirty dollars
From my last show
The Pythagorean Theorem's something
You should all know

[Outro: Daniel Kyre]
And when it's time for me
To shrivel up and die
I hope I'll have some fans
To come tell me goodbye
I don't know
If I can do this anymore
So open up this pit
And let me see blood on the floor
