I was reminiscing the good parts of my last relationship and wanting to pretend we were back together so I could re-live & feel those good times we shared again.

I started the idea and wrote the first half of the chorus in my bedroom. Then I called Liz & AJ and said I had another song idea and wanted to get together so we could write it! So we did!

It’s always nice starting a song by myself so I can make sure it’s something I really want to say and that is coming from me and something I’m experiencing. Then getting to collaborate with amazing writers to complete the song makes my heart so happy. And when you record it in the studio it’s one of the best feelings when you get to add all the beautiful instrumentation and harmonies! I love the entire process!
