“Give You Up” is a song by Dido from her fifth studio album Still On My Mind (2019). It was released as the album’s official lead single on January 22, 2019, following the release of the promotional singles “Hurricanes” and “Friends”.
It’s a laid back track that features Dido declaring she has moved on from her past lover over a simple piano-led arrangement and atmospheric layers of backing vocals. “Give You Up” marks the first official single release by Dido in over six years since “End of Night”. It was accompanied by a music video directed by past collaborator Sophie Muller.
