Future Fantasy Lyrics

Watch them glow from blue to red, so go ahead and call me Noctis
I know who holds my fate, so I keep both hands in my pockets
Shots all at your fitted, I ain't chicken when I cock this
Lyrics make your head bang, now throw up your rawkfist

David heard the swish of the waves, so help me God throughout my days
...admittedly, I'm a little afraid
Feeling my heart will cave, my morals have been depraved
I'm thinking no one could save a stoppable little Dave

Every little atom in my anatomy's gotta be praying for that fantasy

Outro:
Would you look at that? We have another observer
Come, come, you'll barely see a thing from where you stand
Not that you're too far away, or that you're not tall enough, or that your angle isn't the best
It's just that your angle isn't the best
Yes, it's true, it seems, you really do believe... Or at least you believe you'd like to
Indeed, then come, come, you'll barely see a thing from where you stand
That angle of yours as a human
You stand in natural limitation, your attempts at doing the supernatural are imitation, can't you see?
There's not much to do here, so you might as well hear, dude... or rather, simply see
Some need to see to believe, but what if what you wanted to see could come if you believed it would?
Come, come, you'll barely see a thing from where you stand
You blind yourself when all you see is that you can
Despite your personal life's personalized diatribe of can't do's, do what you can to see...
That if you believe... and never stop your hope... and always grasp the goal... you'll be unstoppable

About

Genius Annotation

The hub of the project’s concept, “Future Fantasy” is both an update on how dire things have become for me as of late (plus how it’s been that way repeatedly since 2013) and an eye opener to what I believe is ahead.

It ends with a very eery almost dream-esque spoken word piece that should hint a tad (like other things in this project) on what the setting for the project’s narrative really is. Additional inspiration for the spoken word piece came from Matthew 9:27-31.
