“Pictures” is mysterious French singer ECÂF’s debut single. The R&B, synth heavy track was released on July 19, 2019. Australian singer/songwriter Ruel shouted out the track on his twitter saying
go follow my girl @ecaf_xxii… her debut single drops tomorrow and it’s CRAZY Ruel and his older sister Coco Van Dijk are the actual voices singing in “Pictures” and ECÂF was the face of their voices combined.
The song was featured at the end of the video for Ruel’s ninth studio single “Face to Face”.

In an Instagram post, ECÂF wrote about the song saying
I wrote this song 2 years ago when I was in Paris and I always knew it would be my first release. Thank you guys for all the 💜. Pictures is out now everywhere
The French on the cover for “Pictures” reads
Je vois choses, est-ce toi? atypique est ton look, il fait apparaître des images
which roughly translates to
“I see things, is it you? atypical is your look it shows images”
After hearing a version of “Pictures” with the pitch lowered, fans theorized that ECÂF’s voice is a combination of Ruel singing with his older sister, Coco Van Dijk. Ruel confirmed this was the case in the Face To Face Behind the Scenes video.
I know a lot of you guys guessed it but I got my sister Coco to sing the song and I sung the lower octave and we released it under ECAF.
