Ocean Blue Lyrics

I really need you right now
(Yeah)
I really need you right now
(Yeah)
I wanna see you right now
(Yeah)
I really need you right now

(Yeah)
I see blue, when I’m look at you
You’re the ocean of my life
You’re the tears that drain my eyes
You’re the pills that ease the pain
You’re the colour of the rain

I see blue, when I’m look at you
You’re the ocean of my life
You’re the tears that drain my eyes
You’re the pills that ease the pain
You’re the colour of the rain

Yeah, this my message to you
If you love let them know, and you don’t ever let them go

I’m sorry

Genius Annotation

Ocean Blue is a song about my relationship with my ex girl friend during and after we dated. We dated for two years off and on. It was extremely toxic and I often was trying to find my way out of it. I eventually did, and this is where this song comes in. She would often contact me about her new man. How good he was fucking her, how she didn’t love him like she loved me, how she didn’t trust him, and how she felt like she was trapped. I wanted her back and I promised to her that I would be better, but she never listened. I’m glad she didn’t. My feelings weren’t as genuine as I thought, although I did miss her… I knew what really was missing from my life. Nothing about that relationship was healthy but I was still complacent and wanted her back for comfort. Ocean Blue speaks on my last relationship for my point of view of missing her and wanting her back.
