Genius Answer

Pete Wentz for MoreCore TV:

You have to be careful about how you use throwback qualities. I think that there’s things that people want their favorite bands and artists to do that don’t always make sense, and the record needs to have a flow to it. I think it did make sense to have a spoken word part, I was really excited to do it for this record. I think people were like, “the title’s so crazy!”. I’ll give a little insight into the title: for a long time we were just titling it “A Little Annihilation”, so it just got changed to “Baby Annihilation”. That’s where the title came from.
