“Heartbreak Feels So Good” is a single from Fall Out Boy which would go on to become track 2 on their 2023 album So Much (For) Stardust.
On January 20th, Fall Out Boy posted a picture to their social media pages of a box outside a house with coordinates to the location. Later the same day, a fan picked up the box and posted a picture on Twitter of the box’s content: A letter revealing the song’s title and release date and a seashell with marker writing saying “2 of 13”. The band later retweeted the post.
The song was released on January 25, 2023 along with an official music video.

“Heartbreak Feels So Good” was one of those ones where the post-chorus, to me, screamed like it was a song we should be focused on. I think it came at a very similar time to “Love From the Other Side”, which is interesting because I don’t think they’re similar, really, at all. There’s also a nod to the movie Nope, I love that movie. Doesn’t have a ton to do with the song, but hey.
