Genius Annotation

“Lullabye” was written by the bassist/lyricist of the band, Pete Wentz, to his son Bronx Mowgli Wentz. It was inspired by Bob Dylan.

It was hidden on Folie à Deux as a track that could only be found by “rewinding” the CD once it was put in a CD player. Later releases of the album simply placed the song as a separate track.

What did Fall Out Boy say about "Lullabye"?
Genius Answer

[We have] a bunch that are love songs…There’s also one that’s a hidden track on Folie À Deux called “Lullabies.” It’s not a love song like a he-and-she love song, more of a love song for my first kid. But it’s about just the love you can have for somebody – Pete Wentz for AltPress
