Genius Annotation

There’s been talk about Gorillaz releasing a new album for a while now, and I like to imagine that it will be very of its time and representative of the current atmosphere.

That being said, the main concept of this album is that of Ancient Egypt, drawing parallels from many aspects of Egyptian motifs to current events and modern society*.

Though the explanations of the themes of the songs will be explained clearly, like past Gorillaz music the lyrics would be more complex and suggestive.

*Note that this may be American or British society. Ultimately both have similar issues, so the ideology is similar.
