How can I keep track of changes to the list?
Genius Answer

Any time the list ordering changes, @Empath will post an update in the Year End Lists 2018 thread.

Why does each list have 65 slots if the final lists are only going to have 50?
Genius Answer

Slots 51-65 are displayed here so we can decide if something that almost made the list deserves more than the spot it got and bump it up. By the time ranking week ends, any albums or songs that appear in slots 51-65 won’t make it into the final lists.

What about albums or songs that come out during the ranking process?
Genius Answer

The cut-off date is December 7, meaning anything that comes out after that date won’t qualify for this year’s lists. Notable albums & songs that come out between 11/21 and 12/7 may be added in the “notable albums/songs released post-voting & pre-December 7” section by annotating a “TBD” slot.

What does the Album Graveyard mean?
What if a REALLY GOOD album or song isn't on the list?
Is this based on how good they are or how popular?
