The song works as a remake of SUGA’s “Tony Montana” off his debut solo album Agust D, which was performed live with Jimin during BTS 3RD MUSTER [ARMY.ZIP+] fan even that took place November 12-13, 2016 in Gocheok Sky Dome, Seoul, South Korea. The song was released in early 2017 on DVD and Blu-Ray.
Antonio “Tony” Montana, one of the most famous movie characters, is a drug lord and the main protagonist of the 1983 movie Scarface created by Oliver Stone and portrayed by Al Pacino.
In the song, both SUGA and Jimin show in their verses how they achieved success being the idols—just like Tony Montana—starting from the bottom.
In 2022, the studio version of the song was released as a part of BTS' anthology album, PROOF, available as CD only.
