Although quiet and slow in the verses, symbolizing hope and tranquility, the tempo accelerates and intensifies in the chorus and bridge, emphasizing Marie’s fear and worry about being heartbroken again. Being both optimistic and upbeat, the song offers a different atmosphere both musically and thematically compared to other songs on her if i could make it go quiet.
