Goin’ Down Lyrics

[Verse 1]
I see the world, it's going 'round
Seems to me it's upside down
Looking for something to say
I feel a little different anyway

[Refrain]
Yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah

[Verse 2]
Does it make much sense to you?
Doing all those things you do
Making sure that I'm all right?
Yeah, I'm fine!

[Chorus]
I've been feeling I'm going down
I've been feeling I'm going down
Down
Down

[Verse 3]
I see the world, it's going 'round
Seems to me it's upside down
Looking for something to say
[Chorus]
I've been feeling I'm going down
I've been feeling I'm going down
Down, yeah

[Refrain]
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

[Guitar Solo]

[Chorus]
I've been feeling
I've been feeling
I've been feeling I'm going down
Down

Genius Annotation

“Going down” is one of Godsmack’s earliest songs. It was originally released on Godsmack’s independent album, “All Wound Up” in 1997, but was omitted from their 1998 self-titled major label debut in favor of two newer songs, “Immune”, and the instrumental “Someone In London”.

It was released during the summer of 2000 as part of the “Mission Impossible 2” soundtrack. Later that year it was released on Godsmack’s second major label release, “Awake”.
