Tormenta
[Coro: 2-D & Bad Bunny]
The sun in the storm (Sun in the storm, someone cryin')
Someone cryin' (Someone, someone, someone, someone)
Something is said (Someone cryin')
Someone cryin' (Someone, someone, someone, someone)
Ey, ey
[Refrán: Bad Bunny]
Y aprovéchame hoy, que mañana me voy
Y no sé cuándo vuelvo si en tus ojo' me pierdo
Y aprovéchame hoy, que mañana me voy
Y no sé cuándo vuelvo si en tus ojo' me pierdo
[Verso 1: Bad Bunny]
Ey, ey
[Verse 2: Bad Bunny]
[Coro: 2-D]
The sun in the storm (Sun in the storm, someone cryin')

Something is—

About
The first track recorded for Cracker Island, “Tormenta” marks the first collaboration between Gorillaz and Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny. The title of the track translates to “storm” in Spanish.
The reggaeton-pop fused track was recorded in Jamaica according to Damon Albarn, the virtual band’s co-creator, in an interview with WARP.
Just a couple of days before the song’s official release, a portion of it would leak online before being teased by Gorillaz themselves in the album’s minimix on their YouTube channel.

What I love about Gorillaz is that I can bring anyone I want, you know? I was in Jamaica recently and recorded a Gorillaz song with Bad Bunny, that’s something exciting for next year. Bad Bunny is the first single. It is the first song I have made from this new project.
I still don’t know when it will come out, or how we are going to launch it, but we finished it and it is… yes, more or less a reggaeton song. It’s Bad Bunny meets Gorillaz.
