Banana Lyrics

Body heat just like fire, I
Sip on my drink, feel lighter, keep
Your eyes on me, oh boy i, hate
Slow grindin', don't get tired

I just met you, but i want to
Find out what that banana can do
Might be too forward, but I want more
Never felt this way so fast before
Fantasize you, eatin' this fruit
Punani taste like an apple juice
Wanna surprise, cover your eyes
You're what I want and what I need
So make me say

(I) feel something crazy for
(You) wanna pull up on
(You) tell me you want it

You're what I want and what I need
So make me say

(I) wanna make honey with
(You) put it on me and
(You) show me you got it
You're what I want and what I need
So make me say

I can be quite persuasive, I'm
Sorry if I'm invasive, please
Baby if you can't take it, how
Will you handle me naked

I just met you, boy I'm confused
Now I think I’ve caught a thing for you
Hands on my thighs, time to unwind
Now it’s inside all of you and i
Tasty and sweet, pineapple treat
Got my lips ready for you to eat
Don’t wanna hide, need you as mine
You're what I want and what I need
So make me say

(I) feel something crazy for
(You) wanna pull up on
(You) tell me you want it

You're what I want and what I need
So make me say

(I) wanna make honey with
(You) put it on me and
(You) show me you got it
You're what I want and what I need
So make me say

Genius Annotation

‘Banana’ is the song that comes on in the car that your parents accidentally vibe to before they realize what the song is actually about, It’s a two-minute-and-twelve-second journey through my playful, potentially un-sober mind during a late night interaction: seeing someone, being super infatuated but not even knowing their name.

It’s 2016. It’s the most liberating time to be a forward woman and say what we truly want from someone while having no shame about it. This song is my direct representation of that, without sounding preachy, but still being and sexy and confident. -Heyleau
