Genius Annotation

Originally indented to appear as a skit before the track “Middle Man” on Iggy’s unrelease sophomore studio album Digital Distortion it eventually ended up getting integrated in the song’s bridge.

Thematically it’s a parody skit of Iggy’s haters. Her way of calling out some people who have openly dissed her either in interviews or television.
The four ‘'quotes’‘ represent people like radio Dj Charlamagne tha God from the Breakfast Club-who Iggy is also dissing on “7teen”- in retaliation to him questioning her authenticity in Hip-Hop music. Singer Erykah Badu who dissed and then apologised to Iggy. And long-time hater Azealia Banks who has voiced her opposition for Iggy’s come up in the music industry several times.
