Sober Lyrics
[Verse 1]
When I look at you, it's like I've been baptised
It's so spiritual, like I've been sanctified
Oh, I'm drunk in love, and you're Beyoncé (Haha)
[Pre-Chorus]
(Hey) Let's get it on, all I gotta say is I, I, I, I
[Chorus]
I feel like a rolling stoner
Don't think I can keep my composure
Girl, until the night is over
I don't have a thought that is sober, yeah
[Verse 2]
Won't you take it off, and leave it all behind?
If you let me darling, I could ease your mind
Baby, making love with you is all I want, yeah
[Pre-Chorus]
Oh, let's get it on, all I wanna say is I, I, I, I
[Chorus]
I feel like a rolling stoner (Ah-ah)
Don't think I can keep my composure (I don't think I)
Girl, until the night is over (Girl, until the night is over)
I don't have a thought that is sober (I don't have a thought)
When I look at you, it's like I've been baptised
It's so spiritual, like I've been sanctified
Oh, I'm drunk in love, and you're Beyoncé (Haha)

[Bridge]
Heat me up like a soup, baby
Smoke me up till your pupils' crazy
Double vision, everybody singing in sync
R. Kelly, remix to Ignition
There are so many women, yeah, living in the minute
They're stripping in my living room
I wanna be with you
You're just different like Lana Del Rey
You could play me all day, like a video game (Ooh-ooh-ooh)
Like a video game (Ooh-ooh-ooh)
All I've gotta say
[Chorus]
I feel like a rolling stoner (Yeah, yeah)
I've had too many Coca Cola's (I've had too many)
Living the la vida loca (Oh, living the la vida, yeah)
I don't have a thought that is sober (No, oh)
I feel like a rolling stoner (I feel like a)
Don't think I can keep my composure (Oh, I don't think I can keep my com-)
Girl, until the night is over (Oh, girl, until the night is over)
I don't have a thought that is sober (No, I don't have a thought, no, I don't have a thought)

What did James Arthur say about "Sober"?
Genius Answer
James Arthur said the following about “Sober” an interview:
“Sober” is the little bit of fun we needed to break everything up with a lot of seriousness going on in this album. It’s just a laugh, it’s the sort of song that would come on at a house part, I guess. I just had a lot of fun with that; me, Pete Boxsta and Steve McEwan just wanted to do something a little bit different to make it more diverse and it’s funky with a little bit of rap in there.
