Released online as “Untitled (The Man I Am Now)” on the Rarities from NYC bootleg in the early 2000s, at the time none of us were aware that this song was the famous Sky Blue Skin. Sky Blue Skin was mentioned in the biography Dream Brother, and described as bandmate Michael Tighe as being a very important song. Mary Guibert had initially responded that no versions of Sky Blue Skin beyond an instrumental version were available in the Sony archives. Perhaps it wasn’t clear to her that Untitled and Sky Blue Skin were one and the same? A hauntingly beautiful track.
