“Tequila Little Time” is the the third single to be released off of Jon’s 3rd album Heartache Medication.
The song describes a man who is picking up a woman at a bar and wants to spend time with her, or as the clever wordplay states, “I want tequila little time with you,” meaning, “I want to kill a little time with you” as they are talking over drinks while conversing.
The song features Spanish Horns, which haven’t been in any of Pardi’s singles up to this point. It has a very chill feel to it and many have drawn comparisons of it’s beat to “It’s 5 O'clock Somewhere” by Alan Jackson.
