The intro to it all, “譲二の” samples an infamous track from lo-fi rapper/producer, Joji. Joshua raps over the track with his low quality mic, setting up the feel for the rest of his debut mixtape.
On the surface the song seems to be a simple track about doubt, but if you look closer it can actually be seen as a song written for Joji. In May, 2014, Joji came onto his YouTube Channel to talk about his real life problems and how he had wanted to break away from his online persona for a while. He was then met with backlash from Filthy Frank fans who didn’t care for anything but his raunchy and offensive videos. This song in that context shows Joshua acting on both sides of people; the ones who want to see the real Joji and the ones who just want Frank and Friends.
