“Lose Somebody” is the fourth single off Kygo’s album Golden Hour. The song was teased, like singles before it, when Kygo started following OneRepublic on Instagram. On May 12th the song was officially revealed as a collaboration between Kygo and OneRepublic.
The song marks their second collaboration following “Stranger Things” which was on his second project Kids In Love.
Throughout the song, vocalist Ryan Tedder sings about having to go through pain and loss to find out if you really love the person.
