This cut details Knox’s experience of going out with friends and finding a girl to talk to that told him that he “[was] not Matty Healy” after being told that he was a musician. Matty Healy is the lead singer of The 1975.
This track can be described as having a very direct pop-rock sound, characterized by the use of electric guitars and flashy drums. Knox makes reference to a number of The 1975 tracks throughout the track, including Chocolate and Oh Caroline.
