It’s a song by South Korean pop singer LUNA (루나 from girl group f(x)).
“Free Somebody” is the lead single from her debut album titled with the same name Free Somebody which is an electronic pop dance song with the lyrics about wanting to help the others free themselves and find their true selves by freely pursuing the dreams in their hearts.

On May 17th, 2016, S.M. Entertainment announced that LUNA would be making her solo debut later June. On May 26, 2016 S.M. Entertainment announced that she have a debut with the mini album “Free Somebody” on May 31.

On May 27, it was revealed that the title track would also be called “Free Somebody”. The song’s genre is described as “Future House Electronic-Pop Dance”. On May 29th, 2016, S.M. Entertainment posted a Music Video teaser for the title track. It was reported on May 30 that LUNA composed the two tracks “I Wish” and “My Medicine”.
The album was released digitally worldwide on May 31th, 2016. In South Korea, the album was distributed physically and digitally by S.M. Entertainment and KT Music.
