“Phoenix” is the anthem for the 2019 League of Legends World Championship. Organized by League of Legends and Riot Games Music Team, “Phoenix” is a collaboration between Chrissy Costanza of Against the Current and Cailin Russo.
This marks the sixth single the company has released in preparation for the tournament, following Imagine Dragons‘ “Warriors” (2014), Nicki Taylor’s “Worlds Collide” (2015), Zedd’s “Ignite” (2016), Against the Current’s “Legends Never Die” (2017), and The Glitch Mob, The Word Alive and Mako’s “RISE” (2018).
