Super Over Lyrics

[Intro]
We're not just done, baby, we're super over

[Verse 1]
Let's play truth or dare
Dare you to leave this hemisphere
No, no, I don't care
Where you've been sleeping
As long as it's not here

[Pre-Chorus]
Every time you talk to me
I just want to scream
I'm not gonna lie and say
"It's not you, it's me"

[Chorus]
I left the city and I changed my number
We're not just done, baby, we're super over
My heart is empty for you, full disclosure
We'rะต not just done, baby, we're supะตr over (Over!)

[Verse 2]
Let's play would you rather
Would you rather go away or go away, hey?
Oh, 'cause I don't care
Who's in your sheets
As long as it's not me
[Pre-Chorus]
Every time you talk to me
I just want to scream
I'm not gonna lie and say
"It's not you, it's me"

[Chorus]
I left the city and I changed my number
We're not just done, baby, we're super over
My heart is empty for you, full disclosure
We're not just done, baby, we're super over (Over!)

[Bridge]
Middle finger up so everybody knows we're super over
Don't you call me up
Not now or never, 'cause we're super over
Super over, super over, super over
It's really, really, really over

[Chorus]
I left the city and I changed my number
We're not just done, baby, we're super over
My heart is empty for you, full disclosure
We're not just done, baby, we're super over (Over!)

Genius Answer

I wrote โ€œSuper Overโ€ because I was very confused by a situationship. It had been just consuming my mental state for a really long time. It started from a sad place because I was really into the person, obviously. But at the end of the day, I was like: โ€œThis is not healthy. I need to write my official cut-off anthemโ€. I needed a song to scream and be proud of the fact that Iโ€™m never talking to this person again: Weโ€™re not just done, baby weโ€™re super over. Sometimes you need an empowering anthem to remind yourself that itโ€™s done and youโ€™re fine.
