3 Million Lyrics

[Chorus]
Always
3 million years in the club, always
And I can't even tell if you frontin'
Always
3 million years in the club, always
And I can't even tell if you frontin'

[Verse 1]
Magenta
Pull up from behind, from momentum
Say "what kinda sky were you sent from?"
Silence
I'm an ocean of strangers
Both entertainers
Taller than 'scrapers
No one can blame us
Silence
I'm a part of a vibrance

[Chorus]
Always
3 million years in the club, always
And I can't even tell if you frontin'
Always
3 million years in the club, always
And I can't even tell if you frontin'
[Verse 2]
Why would you skrt' with groceries in the back?
Hopefully they intact
Dope in me for the dope in me for the dopamine that I lack
I got holes though
Stone cold reading Oshi in a chokehold would you mind if I (breathe)
All of the lights sound better now that I know that
Logic is relative
You so damn competitive
Cup filled up with sedatives like

[Chorus]
Always
3 million years in the club, always
And I can't even tell if you frontin'
Always
3 million years in the club, always
And I can't even tell if you frontin'

[Bridge]
I am measuring time to make everything happen together
I am measuring time to make everything happen together
I am measuring time to make sure
I am measuring time to make everything happen together
I am measuring time
I am measuring time to make everything happen together
[Verse 3]
I believe there is a centre
The centre that controls all layers out
From my shoes to my forehead
To the back of my eyes
To the spaceship that is my brain

Always, stars surround me
Snap me back to Colfax
I don’t think I’ll belong here
Be here long
I was looking for my phone and now
My thumbs are getting nauseous
And falling down
The iceberg that was the escalator

I dance with my surroundings
You might actually lose me this time
And I know it all happens in my skin

[Outro]
Did you ever wonder if your dreams aren't good enough?
I said did you ever wonder if your dreams aren't good enough?
Did you ever wonder if your dreams aren't good enough?
(Angles, angles, angles, angles, angles, angles, angles)
I said did you ever wonder if your dreams aren't good enough?
(Angles, angles, angles)

About

Genius Annotation

3 million is the first taste of Lido’s new chapter in his music career, and seemingly also the first single off of a yet-to-be-confirmed album release.

The base of the song was formed in a hotel room in London. I had just gotten a new production software that I wanted to test out, and this instrumental was the first thing I managed to make out of it. About a year later i worked with Chance The Rapper for a couple of weeks, and I got incredibly inspired of how spontaneous and “stream of consiousness” his writing technique was. I suddenly remembered this beat I made in London, and I used it to test out this new technique I had just learned. For some reason «3 million years in the club» was the sentence that automatically came out of my mouth every time I was making a new song, so this time around when I just let go of the controll, It just felt natural to include it. 3 million became the symbol of this experimental phase for me, so naturally I let it become the first taste of the next chapter in my music.
