Falling Down (Travis Barker Remix) Lyrics
Come, let's watch the rain as it's falling down
Now let's do that song for Peep
Sunlight on your skin when I'm not around
Shit don't feel the same when you're out of town
So come, let's watch the rain as it's falling down, yeah
[Chorus: Lil Peep & XXXTENTACION]
Come, let's watch the rain as it's falling down
Sunlight on your skin when I'm not around
Shit don't feel the same when you're out of town
Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh
So come, let's watch the rain as it's falling down
Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh
[Verse: XXXTENTACION]
Rain keeps falling, tears keep falling
Rain keeps falling, tears keep falling
Darlin’, your love is like walking in a bed of nails
And I just can't keep on fighting
[Chorus: Lil Peep & XXXTENTACION]
Come, let's watch the rain as it's falling down
Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh
Sunlight on your skin when I'm not around, yeah
Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh
Shit don't feel the same when you're out of town
Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh
So come, let's watch the rain as it's falling down
Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh
His name will live, brother
Bro, I got-, I feel hella shitty because it's like, yo
Like, if I would have known he was so cool
And it's like, yo, if I would have watched interviews sooner
Bro, we were so alike
It's unfortunate because it's like, yo, when people die
That's when we like 'em, you know?
'Cause your remorse kinda makes you check 'em out
[Bridge: XXXTENTACION]
Darling, your love is like walking in a bed of nails
And I just can't keep on fightin’
[Chorus: Lil Peep & XXXTENTACION]
Come, let's watch the rain as it's falling down
Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh
Sunlight on your skin when I'm not around, yeah
Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh
Shit don't feel the same when you're out of town
Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh
So come, let's watch the rain as it's falling down
Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh
[Outro: XXXTENTACION]
Rain keeps falling, tears keep falling
Rain keeps falling, tears keep falling
Rain keeps falling, tears keep falling
Rain keeps falling, tears keep falling
About
This is a remix of the “Falling Down” song by the blink-182 drummer Travis Barker.
The song was announced on July 9, 2019 by Lil Peep’s mother Liza Womack, who said:
Gus would be very proud to hear this version of a song that he loved. Gus loved making the song Sunlight on Your Skin—which has now become a platinum hit as “Falling Down.” Gus also loved Blink-182 for many years. His brother’s band used to cover “Dammit” when Gus was ten and then eleven years old. It played all the time in our home and in the car. Then Gus covered “Dammit” and other Blink-182 songs at the end of his shows when he toured.
Thank you, Travis, for this honor. I look forward to hearing your interpretation of “Falling Down” this Thursday.
The song was released on July 11, 2019.
